FREE CONSULTATIONS & REFERRALS

You Asked, We Answered!

We’re excited to introduce YAWA (You Asked, We Answered)—a new way for us to share insights shaped directly by your consultations. Have a question you'd like us to answer? Email PROSPER@UCDenver.edu and let us know what you’d like us to tackle in future editions.

Reminder that you can consult with us for FREE about any patient or new parent in Colorado. We are happy to help with simple or complicated clinical situations (such as, Zuranolone for postpartum depression or initiating buprenorphine), resource requests, or just general support for the important work you all do!

YAWA Edition 1

Topic 1:

Antidepressant use

In this first edition, we explore how to support pregnant patients in making balanced decisions about antidepressant use, addressing both the risks of untreated illness and medication.

YAWA Edition 2

Topic 2:

Postpartum Depression & Zuranolone use

In this second edition, we explore how clinicians can decide whether zuranolone, a newer treatment option for postpartum depression, may be a good fit for their patients.

YAWA Edition 3

Topic 3:

Postpartum Psychosis Prevention

In this third edition, we explore how postpartum psychosis prevention depends on illness history and proactive planning to reduce recurrence risk.

YAWA Edition 4

Topic 4:

Medication misinformation

In this fourth edition, we explore how to support patients seeking accurate info on medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding, especially when family members may disagree about treatment options.
