Brigitte McClellan, PsyD
Dr. Brigitte McClellan is an Assistant Professor with the University of Colorado School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry. She has training in the field of psychology with focused training in pediatric psychology, perinatal mental health, infant mental health, and work related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently, she provides clinical care at Children’s Hospital Colorado in the Special Care Clinic, where she is a behavioral health consultant, providing care for children and their caregivers to support medical coping, medical adherence, management of behavioral concerns, and assist in identifying supports for management of developmental concerns. Clinically, I provide brief focused behavioral therapy for families. She has recently returned to academic medicine after spending the last 8 years engaged in community mental health at a community mental health center and a federally qualified health center and have a strong commitment to improving care for underserved populations, especially children and birthing individuals.
