Perinatal Resource Supporting Obstetric Screening,

Psychiatric Education, Equity, and Referral

Colorado’s new perinatal health and substance use consult line. We support Colorado healthcare clinicians working with pregnant and postpartum individuals by providing free statewide perinatal psychiatry support and referrals. Our consultation line helps build capacity for clinicians in implementing screenings, providing education, trainings, and resources for their patients with a focus on equity, gender responsiveservices, trauma-informed care, and cultural considerations.

Colorado PROSPER will also support new parents struggling with mental health concerns. Our experts in maternal, infant and early childhood mental health will support you by offering local referrals for treatment and have a perinatal psychiatrist available for consultation about medications when needed.
