Dr. Antonella Onofrietti is a Research Associate at the Renée Crown Wellness Institute – University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. Onofrietti received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Oregon and completed a school-based internship in Springfield Public Schools. Dr. Onofrietti’s clinical work has focused on child development and parent-child relationships. She is currently a psychologist candidate in the state of Colorado. Her research has focused on self-regulation, parenting behaviors, caregiver mental health, and intergenerational transmission of trauma primarily with Latinx communities. Dr. Onofrietti’s overarching goal as a researcher is to disseminate clinical research that addresses mental health disparities, specifically focusing on enhancing the well-being of culturally and linguistically diverse youth and families. Dr. Onofrietti is particularly interested in contributing through her research and clinical work on reducing barriers that impede access and utilization of culturally responsive mental health services for this population.
